“17 of us here from two families for Christmas. The Italian family celebrated Vigilia with us, a new holiday for us. What is really nice about this house for a family celebration is that you can all meet together in the open plan kitchen area and then find small spaces to group or be alone, so you are not in each others laps all the time.
The village setting was a wonder for the Italians, pity there was no snow, otherwise perfectly Dickensian. Of course everyone marvelled at the luxurious fittings and equipment and comfort everywhere. Six stars on a scale of one to five!”
